Beef - Cubed Steak
Cubed steak is a cut of beef, usually top round or top sirloin, tenderized and flattened by pounding with a meat tenderizer. The name refers to the shape of the indentations left by the tenderizer process. It is a relatively inexpensive cut that still provides an exquisite taste.
It is a great cut to use for chicken fried steak, gravy, chili or stews.
