Apsey Farms
Apsey Farms is a 4th generation centennial farm located in Reed City,
MI. Apsey Farms produces and distributes the highest quality pasture-raised meat and eggs using regenerative practices including rotational livestock grazing. The farm is owned and operated by 3 generations of Apsey family members: Joyce, Robert, Shirley, and Kyle. None of what we do would be possible without all of their help over the years, as well as many other helping hands.

Full Circle Farms

Full Circle Farms is a pasture-based multi-species family farm in Lakeview, MI. Similarly to Apsey Farm, they are starting the 4th generation of farmers. Having made the transition out of the commercial confinement farming system to regenerative, they strive to heal themselves, their animals, and the land.

JNelson Farms

JNelson Farms produces healthy food for people who prefer locally grown, chemical free food. This includes vegetables, eggs from free range chickens and 100% Grass-Fed/Finished beef. JNelson's goal is to improve the health of the land and the food that it produces for customers.

Joe's Farm

Joe's Farm is passionate about producing food in a way that is healthier for the consumer, the animal, and the environment. By moving their animals to fresh pasture regularly they provide a clean, natural environment for the chickens to express themselves naturally. This allows them to scratch around for bugs and worms all in the clean, fresh air!

MSU Research Center
MSU Research Center The Michigan State University Research Center includes 810 acres of managed land and 180 beef cows in a geographic area suitable for forage-based livestock enterprises, potato production and bioenergy crop production. The center supports research on forage and beef production systems that are holistic, regenerative, and profitable. The center’s mission is to bring about practical, common-sense solutions to agricultural sustainability obstacles using research- and knowledge-based problem solving with the assistance of industry partners and the community.
